Welcome to Flashback Friday! This is a little series I’m throwing together while I’m on “maternity leave” (even though I’m at home anyways) to feature some of my favorite posts that some of you may have missed the first time around. This week, I’m sharing, or rather resharing, a tutorial to create a woven canvas basket. It was originally a summer basket I made while on vacation in Indianapolis, when I didn’t have access to a sewing machine and I needed to make a project for my stint on So You Think You’re Crafty. But now that we’re chugging along towards Halloween, why not make this basket in fall colors to hold candy or a Thanksgiving cornucopia? Everything about it can be easily adjusted – the size, the color, the handles. Imagine the possibilities! I’d love to see your creations, and I’d love it even more if you linked back (wink wink)!
