Lindt Lindor Truffles as Ornaments

I just saw a great idea today and had to share!  I was at a friend’s house for a board meeting of our local CSA (Community Supported Agriculture), and her tree was decorated with Lindt Lindor Truffles!  Unfortunately, I don’t have a picture of it, so you will have to imagine the awesomeness and simplicity of this ornament – a hook through the wrapper of the truffle and hung on the tree.

mmm…  Easy access candy on the Christmas tree, and when the tree is ready to be taken down, there are no ornaments to have to take off and re-wrap and box up for next year.  That’s a win win!  And so many color/flavors to choose from!

 

 

Maybe this wouldn’t work so well with kids who would stuff themselves on chocolate all day long, but I love the idea!

    This is totally brilliant! My mom loves these truffles (and I have to admit I’m a sucker for the white chocolate ones).
