Flashback Friday: Instagram Silhouette Social Media Icons

by | Blog

It’s only November I know, but it’s never too early or too late to think about resolutions for the New Year right?  Or, if you’re like me, it’s really just a very very VERY long to-do list, especially when it comes to blogging!  I keep adding stuff and telling myself I should do it already, but at some point, some prioritization is in order, or maybe I should just create a big tag cloud of all the things I want to do in the next year.  One of the first things I made myself learn was how to create my own social media icons – mostly because I couldn’t decide what color I wanted them to be, and instead of bothering someone else to keep changing colors to satisfy my indecision, I wanted to control my icons myself.  I’m like the end of the Disney Sleeping Beauty movie, where the fairies keep changing Sleeping Beauty’s dress color – except I’m all three fairies in one crazy square foot of real estate!

Today’s Flashback Friday goes through how you can make your own social media icons, and even includes an Instagram and Google+ silhouette as a little freebie.  If you like this tutorial, there’s more where it came from – check out my Blogging Tips page for more tutorials on how to prettify your blog and knock out some of those items on your to-do list!
