Ugh, it’s almost winter. The leaves are turning and I’ll be staring at nekkid trees for the next 6 months. I know there’s lots of good things to be had in the wintertime, but man, it’s just so dreary sometimes! Ok, focus on the positive! Let’s see…hot tea, hot soup, hot stew…ok, something not food related. Yarn! A movie, a quiet evening, a ball (or 3) of yarn, a cozy winter infinity scarf, especially in bright heart happy colors, like hot pink. Yep, you guessed it, the Double Strand Infinity Scarf is today’s Flashback Friday feature! But I’m going to call it the Cozy Winter Infinity Scarf now, because it makes winter sound more palatable. I know the original was an end of winter project, but it works just as well as a beginning of winter project too!
This project was part of a crochet along earlier this year, so in addition to the pattern itself, there’s several posts on how to shop for the right yarn, as well as different tutorials to help you make your own winter-blasting, think-positive-thoughts, bright-as-a-summer-day infinity scarf. And it’s time to get crackin’ because the snow’s gonna fly before you know it!
Here are the tutorials for the CAL, which can also be found on my Crochet page:
