Sometime last year, I went on this frenzy of looking for a used card catalog that I could make beautiful. In my mind, I thought that a nice big card catalog would be the perfect hidey hole for all of those random craft supplies that tend to get lost in my mess of a craft room.
Well, it’s been almost a year. My craft room has new floors, new paint, air conditioning…and piles of craft supplies stacked around the room. That would be because the card catalog I ended up buying from a seminary in Connecticut is STILL out in the garage, sawed in half, primed and at a standstill. It will get done…someday…eventually. But until then, let’s just dream about how beautiful it could be. Maybe it’ll look as good as one of these!

Brand-new pieces of furniture – what we’re attempting at home:
Do you have a repurposed card catalog at home? Do you want one? (Is that a dumb question, and I should just assume YES?) What would you do with one if you had it?
I do hope to share with you my finished card catalog sometime before the current little one reaches college, and preferably before the second little one makes her arrival!
I love the red one!! It would be the perfect piece in my living room. Love card catalogs!!
THANKS SO MUCH FOR FEATURING MY CARD CATALOG. LOVE ALL THE OTHERS. THE SPLIT ONES ARE REALLY COOL. MAKES ME WANT TO FIND ANOTHER TO DO! i don’t know if lightning will strike twice though!
Love this collection of card catalogues. I would love one for all my different supplies for painting or maybe a small one for spices. I am a sucker for anything that has a ton of drawers for organizing!
I almost forgot you were doing this round up – I LOVE it! WOW! Some amazing inspiration right there. Thank you so much for including mine. Pinning! Have a great week!
xoxo
Thanks Claire! I keep forgetting to let everyone know that I posted the roundup. Oh, my crazy to-do list 🙂
