A couple of days ago, I asked a question on my Facebook page about whether anyone was interested in a chocolate giveaway? The general consensus I got was “DUH, of course!”, so here we go.
How about some breathtaking artisan chocolate from newly opened Hudson Chocolates? Co-owned by Chef Francisco Migoya and his wife, this little diamond of a chocolate shop creates some amazingly exotic and innovative products. Oh, and of course, they’re delicious. Personally, my mind was blown. The fact that Chef Migoya’s kitchen workshop is in my town just means that I am perfectly willing to be pregnant, fat and happy off of A LOT of chocolate.
I love me some cherry macarons from his Mix and Mac Collection,
and the Chicharron Enrobed in Dark Chocolate. That’s right everyone. Pork rind in chocolate. It’s unexpected and AMAZING.
Drew has said the 1 foot long Espresso Bar is the best chocolate he’s ever had.
Chef Migoya is currently a Professor at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY, and has worked as Executive Pastry Chef at the French Laundry. He was named as one of the Best Pastry Chefs of 2013 by Tasting Table.
