This gift tag is super simple, as are all of them, really. It’s just gift tag + felt + buttons.
Ok, let me take a step back. Yes, this tag is super simple, but it did cause me a bit of a headache. Know why? The stoopid buttons wouldn’t stay on! Buttons with a flat behind were easy enough to secure using plain old craft glue. The felt was no problem for my glue gun. But that medium red button was a pain because the back was round and it had to sit lopsided on the felt and the tag.
I was almost going to have to put this in the “fail” pile, when I decided to bring out the big guns. No more Mr. Glue Gun nice guy for you. I went straight to super glue, and boy did that do the trick. I’m glad I didn’t glue my fingers to the project; I’m usually a little wary of the super glue.
So, my suggestion to you is, if you decide to make this, just pull out the super glue right at the beginning. Use with care and you can have this little tag done in just a few minutes!
Here’s my gift tag collection so far!

This is my favourite yet!
This tag’s beauty is in its simplicity. My favorite so far and looking forward to seeing more.
Thanks Susan! There’s definitely more to come!
