I am SO thrilled to find your site and to read your line “someday I’ll learn to knit”…..I AM a knitter and just this past week have decided to learn to crochet – I’m perfecting the SC and the DC and tension FIRST, then want to delve into projects like your Granny Square Baby Afghan!!!! Yeaaah, I’m a follower……

I love the star ornaments! Thank you for sharing the pattern with us. I have already made 8 stars. They are turning out so lovely. Merry Christmas!

Awesome! It’s great to hear the stars are working out for you. What will you be doing with them? Garland, or just ornaments? Happy Holidays to you too Amanda!

I used stars as a token of thanks to the neighborhood children who came to Carol for Christmas @ my house let Sunday.. I’ll work up a. bakers dozen of the Gnomes for next year, or to appear on their door on Christmas. I am “stay@home m:)m, because of health limitations…my sons are in their 20’s- I got back into crochet to keep me occupied! Dream of a day when I could make up patterns.
Cherish every moment with your young ones…the days can be long, but the years are too fast!
So happy to have found. your blog. Ann

Thanks so much Ann! Your tradition of using these little projects as thanks for the neighborhood children is so wonderful – I’m sure they love getting little gifts on their doorstep! Have a great New Year!

Where is the video showing how to make the magic circle? I was just on here 2-3 days ago and now I can’t seem to find it.

Hi Deboray, I don’t have a video on the magic circle. I have a post on it here: http://www.1dogwoof.com/2013/08/crochet-in-the-round-magic-circle-and-chain-2.html

I have made 2 of the Unicorns, of course the 2nd one came out cuter than the 1st one! Your pattern was so easy to follow, do you have a pattern for a smaller one?

I just finished the Classic Stuffed Bunny. He is so, so cute! The Lion Brand Homespun Thick and Quick yarn was a bit challenging, but well worth not really being able to see what I was doing! I have only recently started to crochet and your pattern was very clear and easy to follow. This was a fun project, and I know a little girl who will love her bunny. Thank you.

Where is the free shark pattern? I hate going round and round and never finding what is supposed to be there.
