For the Zoodiacs Mouse c2c crochet graph, I always have to tell myself to call him a mouse and not a rat. A lot of interpretations of the Chinese Zodiac say rat, but in chinese, the word can either mean rat or mouse, and who wants to be a rat? Let’s all be mice instead. I did choose to make him gray though, instead of the white lab mice with red eyes, I figured that might be a bit creepy on what is supposed to be a cute afghan.
This mouse is just 1 out of 12 Zoodiacs graphs I’m sharing, depicting animals from the Chinese Zodiac, of which my family are big fans. It’s always fun to figure out what animal you are linked to, and if you have those same characteristics.

If you missed a Zoodiacs post, you can always find all of the graphs available on my Zoodiacs page. I’ll be adding new animals there, as well as fleshing out different ideas related to the Zoodiacs.
I’d love to see your Zoodiacs animals, so share with me on Facebook or tag me (@1dogwoof) on Instagram!
Your list of supplies states to use a J hook, but in the comments below that, you state that you used an I hook. Which do you recommend using?
Hi. I have made a c2c blanket just solid color, not with the pattern design like these beautiful zodiac characters you did. I don’t know how to ask this question, but I try anyway. When mixing color like between blue, white, grey…how do you carry the thread a long the way?
I appreciate and looking forward to see your tip. I really like these 12 zodiac signs and would like to make it for my daughter. Thanks for all your time and hard work.
Best regards,
Huong
Do you still make the stuffed animals of the Zodiac (Chinese)? Was wondering how to find them on your website. I really like them and was hoping you going to make more. Hope you still have the others…I’ve lost my patterns after moving, not sure how that happened….hope you can help.
Love your work!
