I {Heart} Glasses

by | DIY, Uncategorized

This may be the fastest little project I’ve ever done, for such cutie results.  I like my little Valentine’s glasses, but really, I’m just proud that I was able to get some halfway decent shots of J wearing them.  This would be before he ripped them off his head and twisted them into an unrecognizable pile of pipe cleaner wreakage.  Still, I got enough to show off my little man!

Anyways, if you’d like your own, grab two red pipe cleaners, twist them together with a small overlap, and form some heart frames.  The two pipe cleaners was barely enough to make these glasses large enough for a toddler, so if you’d like to wear them yourself, you may need to use a couple more pipe cleaners.

Give it a shot!  Maybe use them as party favors or just silly little photo props at your Valentine’s Day get-together!

In other news, I think J is finally starting to understand that he should look at the camera and pose when I’m trying to take some pictures.  But I think he also does it so he can look at himself in the viewer afterwards to check that his hair looked ok.  Here’s some of his wacky “poses”.  They were all followed by “See picture! Mommy, J see picture!”

Those are so sweet and the model too 🙂

I really like this idea- so simple and even has the potential for some creative or silly shapes.
    Cheers!
